So far this has been an immense blessing. Yes, it’s work. But the blessing has come in the fruit of the labor: the choice nuggets gleaned from studying what I’m memorizing.
The great thing about memorizing Scripture is that you can go at your own pace: you don’t have to be ambitious and try to memorize an entire book. Try something shorter—even a single verse.
