ESV Study Bibles in Eger Hungary
Last spring, Wayne Grudem’s adult Sunday School class at Scottsdale Bible Church (and one other class) donated 654 ESV Study Bibles to be distributed to European Christian leaders from over 40 countries at the European Leadership Forum in Eger, Hungary, May 23-28, 2009. “These European leaders were thrilled to receive such an up-to-date, practical, comprehensive resource to help them in their various ministries,” said Grudem.
Mike Vezzetti (Distribution Manager), Tim Hoffer (Assistant Distribution Manager), and Kay Olsen (Supervisor of Sales and Media Services) arranged for the shipment of 654 ESV Study Bibles to Hungary.

This is neat! It is great to see Christians working together to spread the Gospel and one of the best ways (in my opinion) to accomplish this is to get the Word of God into their hands.
I know I purchased copies of the ESVSB for three of my friends who were turning 40 this year and gave them each a copy. I would encourage those that are looking for that special gift for a friend/loved one to consider buying them a copy of the ESVSB. I have used the ESVSB as a gift on seven different occasions and it has been a HUGE hit each time!

The ESVSB was greatly appreciated by all of us who received one. Some from the poorer countries in Eastern Europe were especially blessed. They had sacrificed much to come, and could not afford even one of the books on the extensive (and heavily discounted) bookstall in the Forum. They were seen carrying their copy around with them everywhere and it was clear that their whole church would benefit from the content.
Those of us who live with no shortage of books need to realise how to make good use of our resources. This is a wonderful resource to place in the hands of leaders, and I have many friends in Eastern Europe who would greatly benefit from it.
