Faithful Women and Their Extraordinary God on Trackback Thursday

1581346735Have you felt weak or unsuitable in the places God has called you to serve? Or do your day to day responsibilities feel mundane and cause you to wrestle with the thought that your gifts and abilities aren’t being used fully? Maybe you find yourself waiting for your real life or your real ministry to begin.

Hebrews 13:7-8 says, “Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

It is with this passage in mind that Noel Piper gives us Faithful Women and their Extraordinary God. Noel provides a glimpse into the lives of Sarah Edwards, Lilias Trotter, Gladys Aylward, Esther Ahn Kim, and Helen Roseveare—who trusted in their extraordinary God as he led them to do great things for his kingdom. Their lives set an inspiring example of faithfulness that will challenge readers to see the opportunity God has given them to make a difference for Christ in their own families, in the church, and throughout the world.

  13. I have been emptyied out by our God very recently and it was very hard to deal with BUT..God is now reshaping me into the woman of God I am meant to be…first He had to get rid of the ‘me’ in order to make me into the woman of God I am destined to be
