Greg Gilbert’s What is the Gospel? is available for free this month on Amazon’s Kindle and in the iBook store! But just as the gospel isn’t only for us individually, our desire is that this content would reach well beyond those of you who download it for free!
We’d like to challenge our readers to consider others who would benefit—whether they’re hearing the gospel for the first time, growing in the gospel, or being challenged to share the gospel.
Greg Gilbert has served us all by writing this clear and helpful articulation of the good news about Jesus. We think What is the Gospel? will really serve you and your church as an evangelism and discipleship resource. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments/feedback. You need to download iBooks (linked in the blog post) on to your iTunes. Then you can search for Greg Gilbert’s “What is the Gospel.” For Amazon, I believe it’s free for the continental US. Unfortunately the discounting on Amazon doesn’t work for our friends in Canada and abroad.

The link takes you to the iBooks app, and I have searched the store on my iPhone for both “What is the Gospel” and “Greg Gilbert” with no results. I couldn’t even buy this book on iBooks even if I wanted to.

Sweet. This book was near the top of my wish list. Thanks!

I still cannot find the book in the iBook store. Is this US only or available in the UK as well?
Comment by Tim — July 8, 2010 @ 4:54 am
It’s not free in Kindle. USD 2 is the price. Is there a coupon to make it free?

thank you! Downloaded the book just fine through my iBook app on my iPod touch (found the book by searching for the title in the store). Looking forward to reading it.

Unfortnunately it is for the U.S. only – both for the iBook store and the Kindle. We apologize to our friends abroad. We are still working to add the territories that Apple recently opened up for iBooks.

Chris/Ben – You will have to have the Kindle app or one of the other book reader apps to download on your IPhone/Ipad.

Thanks so much for this!
It doesn’t appear to be U.S only for kindle at least. I had no trouble downloading for free with an Australian registered amazon account.
