Community without mission leads to codependecy—a group of people who just need each other and need to be needed. Mission without community leads to mercenaries—individuals who have neglected the best apologetic for the gospel: loving community. It's only when the church embraces mission and community that God's people will truly be effective at reaching the lost with the good news about Jesus.
