How many times a day do you say, “THANK YOU” ?

20 times? 30 times? MORE? Wow! It’s really important to express our thanks.

Many years ago the Pilgrims thanked God for the good things He had given to them. They knew God loved them and they could trust Him to care for them.

Thanksgiving Day is a special time when we can give thanks to God for the many good things in our lives.
He has given us so many good things: our parents, family, friends, food, home, His love.

Yes, that’s right! God loves you. He loves you SO much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to be born many years ago. The Bible says,

“This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his only Son into the world to give us life through him.”

1 John 4:9

Jesus did many wonderful miracles like healing the sick, making the blind see, and even raising people from the dead. But the most important thing Jesus did was to die on the cross for your sins (the “bad” things you do). Jesus was buried and three days later He was raised from the dead.

Those who trust (believe) in Jesus will have their sins forgiven and the gift of eternal life. The Bible says,

“Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son [Jesus], so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Will you trust in Jesus Christ today and accept God’s love for you? You can say a simple prayer like this:

Dear God, I know that I do bad things. Please forgive me. I believe Your Son, Jesus Christ, died and rose again to take away my sins. I now trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior.
