WHAT IS GATHER | ORLANDO

Gather | Orlando is a ministry-focused evening of fellowship, worship, and conversation designed to encourage and equip pastors on the eve of the SBC Annual Meeting. Featuring live recordings of the Pastor's Talk podcast and singing led by Doxology & Theology.

FEATURED SPEAKERS

Jonathan Leeman | 9Marks — Jonathan Leeman is the president of 9Marks and co-host of the Pastors Talk podcast. He teaches at several seminaries and is the author of a number of books on the church, as well as on the intersection of faith and politics, including How the Nations Rage: Rethinking Faith and Politics for a Divided Age and most recently, Authority: How Godly Rule Protects the Vulnerable, Strengthens Community, and Promotes Human Flourishing. Jonathan lives with his wife and four daughters in a Maryland suburb of Washington, DC.

Matt Boswell | Doxology & Theology — is a pastor at the Trails Church in North Texas. He also serves as professor of worship ministries at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an author and hymn writer, known for songs including “His Mercy Is More” and “Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery.” Boswell lives in Texas with his wife and four children.

Ryan Robertson | Reaching & Teaching International Ministries — Ryan Robertson serves as the President of Reaching & Teaching. Robertson has previously served in executive leadership positions for public companies and other non-profit organizations and has been a board member of several different charities. In 2014, he obtained his CPA from the State of Massachusetts. Robertson is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Missiology program at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan and his wife Erin have three children and are members of Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, where Ryan serves as an elder.
