Phil A. Newton (PhD, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) is the director of pastoral care and mentoring for the Pillar Network. He previously served for 44 years as a pastor and has authored several books on pastoral ministry and the Christian life. He lives with his wife Karen in Germantown, Tennessee. They have five adult children and nine grandchildren.
