An Invitation to Contemplate the Majesty of Creation

From the highest mountain peak to the lowest creeping creature, all of creation testifies to the attributes of God. It’s by the light of his creation we see, and in our stillness we can gaze upon his beauty. J. V. Fesko invites readers to lay down the distractions of the age and step into the theater of God as image-bearers of the creator himself.

As part of the Contemplating God series, this volume blends theological depth, readability, and literary creativity to offer an accessible and engaging exploration of the classical Christian tradition. Fesko stirs the senses to help readers contemplate the divine majesty in creation and, by it, imitate the perfect created man, Jesus Christ.

  • Explores God’s Divine Majesty in Creation: Examines what beauty tells us about the Creator, how it relates to salvation, and what it means for us
  • Part of the Contemplating God Series: Each book offers an accessible gateway into a specific topic of classical theology, helping laypeople embrace truths from the historic church
  • Written for Lay-Readers: A non-intimidating and thoroughly enjoyable introduction that informs the mind while inspiring awe, wonder, and wisdom
  • Literary: Inspired by writers like C. S. Lewis and G. K. Chesterton, this essay speaks to the reader through the beauty of language
