We aren’t selling anything.
We aren’t running for office.
We’re your “church neighbors.”
Don’t worry…that doesn’t mean that we want to force our beliefs on you. But because we care about you as our neighbor, we want to share what has made all the difference in the world to us—learning how we can know God personally. Briefly, here’s what God says in the Bible about knowing him…
God loves us and wants to be involved in our lives.
The Bible says that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son [Jesus], that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). And Jesus, God’s Son, said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10b).
But our sins separate us from God.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
So God provided a way through Jesus Christ for our sins to be forgiven.
“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh” (1 Peter 3:18).
But we must receive Jesus as our Savior to experience the benefits of God’s love.
“There is salvation [from sin’s penalty] in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). “ For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day” (John 6:40).
